Taking an already existing non-profit organization, the goal was to create a new smartphone app design for them. After conducting research on different organizations, I chose ECPAT USA. They only had a website so I took inspiration and information from it for the design of my app. Their mission is to "protect every child’s right to grow up free from sexual exploitation and trafficking through legislative advocacy, education, and partnerships". I wanted to focus on this app as a resource to gain knowledge on the problem of sexual exploitation and trafficking and to learn of ways one can make a difference to inflict change. To mockup the app, I used Figma and used photoshop to emphasize aspects of each image by contrasting black and white with color.
